In the shortest possible time, dozens of Turkish workers built a trail 5.5 km long. Carefully honed stone steps and equipped viewing platforms were prudently installed so that the monarchs could admire the landscapes of Crimea.
As a result of a strong earthquake that occurred in 1927, the Golitsyn Trail was badly damaged. Part of the road has been restored.
The Golitsyn trail is located southwest of the village of Novyi Svet. It starts at the foot of Mount Orel, goes along the slope of Mount Koba-Kaya and goes to the Royal Beach.
